U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Neysa Huertas Quinones/Released 151204-M-RH401-034.JPG
Feb 9, 2016
The words “protect what you’ve earned” are displayed on the side of an ammo can during a combat fitness test at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Dec. 4, 2015. Every day, Marines are reminded about the oaths they took to join The Corps and the dedication to their standards. It is a test designed to examine Marines ability to withstand the physical rigors of contemporary combat operations. Marines with 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing maintain their combat readiness year-round in order to provide continuous support to the Marine Air-Ground Task Force. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. N.W.
