Mission

It is the mission of the Second Marine Aircraft Wing Band to provide a professional level of music and quality entertainment to audiences of military and community events.  It is our distinct duty to uphold the traditions and rich history of the United States Marine Corps, and project the highest level of professionalism that is expected of a United States Marine.  It is important that we remind ourselves daily that we are the image of the United States Marine Corps and all Marines who wear, or have worn, the uniform.  We must strive to set the example for other Marines to follow.  Through our musical expertise we must re-affirm the public's image of the Marine Corps while instilling a sense of patriotism and esprit de corps.
