Lance Cpl. Peter D. Wilson runs with Company B's guidon during Marine Wing Communications Squadron 28's motivational run at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., June 19, 2014. The squadron's run was the culminating event to the inaugural Spartan Cup. The Spartan Cup is a competition between the three companies within the squadron, evaluating each company's level of fitness, fighting spirit and commitment to Marine Corps values. Company B earned a place in the squadron's history as the first company to earn the Spartan Cup. The squadron plans to continue this ongoing competition crowning a winner semi-annually. Wilson is a field radio operator with Company B, MWCS-28.
