AL ASAD, Iraq - Corporal Walter Vidal, an airframe mechanic with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 26 fixes a gun turret at the MALS-26 compound, May 17. MALS-26?s maintenance division doesn?t measure its effectiveness in turn-around time or repair time, but squadron readiness. They prioritize their parts in order of demand and repair the most critical parts first.
