MCAS Cherry Point shook with acoustic rock, country vibrations during Cherry Point Unplugged concert
Aaron Lewis performs during the Cherry Point Unplugged concert aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Jan. 11, 2017. As an American musician and songwriter, he has performed numerous acoustic shows since he was 17 years old. “The most important thing that I can accomplish during the performance is to show the military members in the audience how much they are appreciated,” said Lewis. Over 1,200 Marines, sailors and members of the community packed the Two Rivers Theater to enjoy the free concert featuring artists such as Lewis; Citizen Zero; A Thousand Horses; and Seasons After.
