Sergeant Major Christianna M Wolford is a native of Ocala, Florida. She enlisted in the Marine Corps in March of 2008 and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina.
Following recruit training Private Wolford reported to the School of Infantry, Camp Geiger, North Carolina for Marine Combat Training, Upon completion, she attended MOS training as a Landing Support Specialist at Camp Johnson, North Carolina.
In September of 2008, Private First Class Wolford reported to Combat Logistics Regiment 37, Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. While assigned, she deployed in support of Ulchi Freedom Guardian holding billets as logistics NCOIC and embarkation NCOIC. Private First Class Wolford was subsequently assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st MEU. While assigned, she deployed in support of exercises Phiblex, Cobra Gold, Balikatan, Key Resolve, KITP, and Talisman Saber.
In August of 2010 then Corporal Wolford reported to Combat Logistics Regiment 27, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and was subsequently assigned to 2nd Marine Logistics Group Forward where she deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom holding the billet of EPT member supporting the Afghan National Army 215 kandak. In February of 2012, Sergeant Wolford was transferred to Corporals Leadership School where she held the billets of platform instructor and faculty advisor within 2nd Marine Logistics Group.
In January of 2013, Sergeant Wolford reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina for Drill Instructor Duty. Upon completion of Drill Instructor school, she was assigned to Fourth Recruit Training Battalion where she served as a Drill Instructor, Senior Drill Instructor, and Chief Drill Instructor.
In August of 2016, Staff Sergeant Wolford reported for duty to Combat Logistics Regiment 45, Landing Support Company, Savannah, Georgia as the Operations Chief and Senior Enlisted Advisor. Holding these billets Staff Sergeant Wolford supported several UDP's including, Saber Strike, Eager Hawk, Eager Lion, and Steel Knight ensuring the training and MOS expertise of over 300 Marines within the USMCR. During this tour of duty Staff Sergeant Wolford was also selected as a summer augment in support of Officer Candidate School.
In June of 2018, Staff Sergeant Wolford was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant and selected to serve as Marine Air Control Squadron 2 Logistics Chief and Headquarters Detachment Senior Enlisted Advisor. Gunnery Sergeant Wolford was assigned as the logistics planner for several iterations of SLTE and subsequently assigned to serve as the Marine Air Control Group 28 Logistics Chief, and Personnel Support Detachment 28 First Sergeant.
In February of 2022, First Sergeant Wolford reported for duty to 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina to serve as the Kilo Company First Sergeant completing five training cycles as a Company First Sergeant.
In February of 2024 First Sergeant Wolford received orders to 3d Marine Raider Support Battalion, Marine Raider Support Group, Marine Forces Special Operations Command, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina where she supported the generation of two Marine Raider Support Teams and the force generation of Special Operations Capabilities Specialists.
In March of 2025, Sergeant Major Wolford reported for duty to Marine Attack Squadron 231, Cherry Point, North Carolina. Where she is currently serving as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader.
Sergeant Major Wolford's personal awards include the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Commendation Medal in lieu of fifth award and the Navy Achievement Medal in lieu of third award. Sergeant Major Wolford also has a bachelor's degree in Transportation and Supply Chain Management.
