Major Parker Hills is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. A resident of Denver, North Carolina, he graduated from East Lincoln High School and later attended Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. He graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.
Major Hills was commissioned in March 2016 and, upon graduation from The Basic School, reported to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 29.
While serving at MALS-29, Major Hills graduated from the Aviation Supply Basic Qualification Course in Newport, Rhode Island, and served in the following billets: Repairables Management Division Officer in Charge (OIC), Warehouse Management Division OIC, Supply Response Division OIC, and Readiness Section OIC. Major Hills served as the Aviation Combat Element Aviation Supply Officer for Exercise Trident Juncture 18.
In August 2020, Major Hills reported to Region 7, Marine Corps Embassy Security Group in Frankfurt, Germany, where he served as a Marine Security Guard Officer, Logistics Officer, and Executive Officer.
In August 2023, Major Hills reported to MALS-14, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, where he served as the Assistant Aviation Supply Officer until June 2024, when he assumed the duties of the Aviation Supply Officer.
In March 2025, Major Hills was promoted to his current rank and continued to serve as MALS-14 Operations Officer and Executive Officer.
Major Hills is a Distinguished Graduate from the Expeditionary Warfare School Distance Education Program, and a graduate of both the Joint Humanitarian Operations Course and Joint Maritime Prepositioning Forces Staff Planning Course, and holds his DAWIA Level 1 certification from Defense Acquisitions University.
Major Hills’ personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
