This identity design was created in adobe illustrator to represent the official unit insignia for 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Feb. 12, 2025. The flying diamond insignia was first recognized during World War II as a shoulder patch. The patch was later mandated by the Commandant of the Marine Corps to represent all Marine Aircraft Wings.

Cpl. Danny Novondo is bit by a military dog for demonstration purposes during National Night Out at Walter B. Jones Park in Havelock, North Carolina, Aug. 2015. National Night Out is an event held across the country that began in 1984 to strengthen police-community partnerships and generate support for local anticrime efforts while sending a message to criminals, letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
