This identity design was created in adobe illustrator to represent the official unit insignia for 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Feb. 12, 2025. The flying diamond insignia was first recognized during World War II as a shoulder patch. The patch was later mandated by the Commandant of the Marine Corps to represent all Marine Aircraft Wings.

Spouses of active-duty service members hold a child’s pose during the annual Spouses Spa Day hosted by Marine Corps Family Team Building at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Oct. 22, 2015. During the event spouses of active-duty service members were pampered with facials, foot soaks and were given strategies to help them relax. Spouses enjoyed free yoga, fresh smoothies and mini spa treatments. MCFTB used the event as an opportunity to give the ladies a relaxing experience to combat the stresses of being a military spouse.
