Hotline Guidance

READ BEFORE YOU PROCEED.

Once you have gathered all the necessary information and have researched the plausibility of your complaint, you should then fill out and submit a Hotline Complaint Form to the 2d Marine Aircraft Wing Inspector using the Inspector General of the Marine Corps complaint hotline website at http://hotline.usmc.mil/ (Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome are preferred)

In order to begin filing your complaint you must:

Do not hesitate to contact the Inspectors office to ask for further guidance.

To file an official complaint, you will need to click on the below link which takes you to the IGMC Assistance and Hotline Division webpage.

Once there, scroll down to the Submit a Complaint link and click the link.  The recommendation is to use Google Chrome as your browser.

This link will take you to the Inspector General of the Marine Corps DOD Warning Banner.  Once you click the “I accept” button it will take you to the official form to fill out to file a complaint.

When filling out the complaint form please be as specific as possible to include the full spelling of the Marine’s name and their rank if you know it.  When you fill out the form please be as detailed as possible and include any evidence you have concerning the allegations.

If the complaint is against a Marine at 2d MAW, then select 2d MAW as the Inspector General Office that you want to submit your complaint to.

REQUEST MAST

Request Mast includes both the right of the member to personally talk to the commander, normally in person, and the requirement that the commander consider the matter and personally respond to the member requesting mast.

Request Mast provides a member the opportunity to communicate not only with his or her immediate commanding officer, but also with any superior commander in the chain of command up to and including the member's immediate commanding officer. Request Mast also provides commanders with firsthand knowledge of the morale and general welfare of the command.
