AL TAQADDUM, Iraq (March 29, 2005) - Petty Officer 3rd Class Aaron T. Newton, CASEVAC corpsman and native of San Diego, asses and treats a wounded Marine. Newton is a member of the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward) causality evacuation team. Along with his fellow corpsmen, Newton is responsible for flying into hazardous areas to extract wounded Marines, soldiers and civilians.
