Capt. William Mahoney, left, receives the Air Medal from Lt. Col. Roger T. Mahoney is an AV-8B Harrier pilot with Marine Attack Squadron 223 at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C. Mcduffie is the commanding officer for Marine Attack Squadron 223.
