Marines assigned to Marine Air Control Squadron 2 showcase the Composite Tracking Network to personnel from Program Executive Officer Land Systems aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., June 28, 2017. The CTN interfaces with the Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar and the Common Aviation Command and Control System to establish a wider radar range and more accurate data than previous systems. The ability of the three systems to integrate with one another provides faster and more accurate data to Marine Air-Ground Task Force commanders, allowing them to maintain better situational awareness, and improving their decision making ability.
