MISSION

The Primary mission of MAG-29 is combat readiness! Simply put, combat readiness equates to having professionally maintained aircraft and properly cared for and trained Marines to employ those aircraft whenever and wherever directed. We can only accomplish this by preserving our people, aircraft and equipment by living, working, and training safely. Enhancing our safety posture is one of the single greatest steps we can take to preserve combat readiness. There is nothing mysterious about safety. Although it must be on our minds at all times, it is itself not the focus of effort - mission accomplishment is the focus of effort. Safety is an attitude and is an automatic by-product when we do things right - the way we've all been trained; THE WAR EAGLE WAY!
