Angels cover one of three Angel Trees at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C, Nov. 17, 2015. Country music artists perform their hit songs and tell stories for a crowd of nearly 2,000 Marines, Sailors and community members during the 7th annual WRNS Guitar Pull at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Nov. 19, 2015. Cpl. Alexander Decker, Marksmanship Programs Management System, and Staff Sgt. James Fehr, Weapons Training Battalion range officer, participate in the fifth annual Combat Shooting Competition Oct. 28 hosted by Weapons Training Battalion aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico. The week-long tournament challenged Marines in the application of basic fundamentals of marksmanship in a simulated combat environment. - Cpl. Lt. Col. Samuel Meyer expresses his condolences to the Marines and family of fallen hero, Staff Sgt. Denver Sugano, during a memorial service at Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., Nov. 4, 2015. Sugano faithfully served in the Marine Corps for 13 years, primarily serving as a flight equipment technician and a Marine recruiter. Sugano participated in three Unit Deployment Programs, assisting with Hurricane Sandy relief efforts and deploying in support of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Family, friends and fellow Marines remember Sugano for his dedication to his beloved Corps and his family. Meyer is the commanding officer of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 167. - Lt. Col.
