Jennifer Remmers, an entomologist from Burlington, Iowa, assigned to the Forward Deployed Preventive Medicine Unit here, educates Al Asad residents on staying away from. According to Remmers, one problem during deployments to Iraq is service members playing with the snakes, scorpions and other critters in the region. - AL ASAD, Iraq ? Hall and the Marines of VMFA(AW)-224 have recently surpassed 3,000 combat flight hours since their arrival here in January. - AL ASAD, Iraq (May 9, 2005) - Cpl. Brandon C. Sagebiel, outgoing commander, May 6. Baumert served as the squadron's executive officer and takes command from Sagebiel, who led the Gators to Iraq in the first deployment to combat in 50 years for a reserve fixed wing fighter squadron. - AL ASAD, Iraq ?
