Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit return to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., after completing a seven month deployment, June 21, 2015. The advance party, commonly known as ADVON, is a contingent of Marines and Sailors from the 24th MEU tasked with preparing for the arrival of the remainder of the force later this summer.
