Riley is an augment to Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2. Haro, an embarkation and logistics specialist assigned to Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2, uses the experience gained serving with ground and aviation units to help make things run smooth in the arrival and departure airfield control group here. Haro, from San Antonio, joined the Marine Corps in August 2002 and is here on his first deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. - AL ASAD, Iraq ? Lance Cpl. Jesus M. Mark Blouin, a native of Salem, Mass., and James Cruse, a native of Marion, Ohio, both mechanics with Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 2 start the propeller on their Pioneer unmanned aerial vehicle here May 25. VMU-2 has a Pioneer detachment and two ScanEagle detachments that soar through the Iraqi skies feeding live video footage of the ground they fly over for reconnaissance missions throughout the country. - AL TAQADDUM, Iraq ? The squadron, based at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., is on its second tour in Iraq since their activation to support Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004. - AL ASAD, Iraq ?
