AL ASAD, Iraq (March 19, 2005) - Lance Cpl. Brandon M. Mitchell is currently serving in Iraq with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2. Mitchell graduated from Queensbury High School in 2003 and joined the Marine Corps shortly after. Bailey is one of the 18 fuels Marines who augmented to Marine Wing Support Squadron 271 from MWSS-273 in Beaufort, S.C. - AL ASAD, Iraq- Lance Cpl. The Gators have been flying since they landed here, March 7. With the help of the Marines behind the scenes, the Gators were able to fly their first combat missions 20 hours after arriving. - Lance Cpl. Paguada, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward) food service operations officer and native of the Bronx, N.Y., is responsible for over seeing the budget, supplies and quality control of the dinning facilities here. His work ensures that over 35,000 hot meals are served each day to Marines, sailors, soldiers and civilian contractors here. Paguada volunteered for a 14-month tour here, and says he is happy to do his part to ensure the freedoms of the Iraqi people. - AL ASAD, Iraq (March 17, 2005) - Sgt. Oneal A. Jarvis, bulk fuel specialists with Combat Logistics Battalion 2, work to attach a fuel line to one of the fuel farm's 50,000 gallon bladders. The bulk fuel Marines of CLB-2 are redesigning the fuel farm to minimize damage from possible enemy rocket attacks. - AL ASAD, Iraq (March 15, 2005) - While a bulldozer builds new lining walls, Lance Cpls.
